Peterborough Folk Festival
Peterborough Folk Festival, Canada’s longest-running free-admission folk festival, runs from August 14-17, 2025 at downtown venues and Nicholls Oval Park in Peterborough, Ontario.

Festival Beyond the main stage, the festival’s numerous smaller venues offer a chance to discover new favorites.

Celebrating 36 years of music, culture and community, the free-admission weekend portion of Peterborough Folk Festival features three stages of live music, a children’s village, 45+ artisan vendors, a food village, a licensed pavilion, and more. The festival kicks off with an opening night concert on Thursday August 14th at the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre with Canadian singer-songwriter Basia Bulat and PFF 2025 Emerging Artist, Jeanne Truax.
Saturday and Sunday at Nicholls Oval Park will feature a stellar lineup of notable Canadian artists, including Jeremy Albino, Goldie Boutilier, Joel Plaskett, Whitehorse, Colin Linden, My Son the Hurricane and many more.
