The holiday season is about to get significantly brighter!
The CPKC Holiday Train has announced its most ambitious tour to date for 2025, promising more lights, more music, and more stops than ever before across its vast North American network.
The expanded journey, covering six Canadian provinces and 13 U.S. states, starts on November 19 in Montreal, Quebec and runs until December 21.
The brightly illuminated train will host 196 free concerts, turning train stations into magical community gatherings.

Prepare to catch performances from rock icons and contemporary favourites, including Barenaked Ladies, Smash Mouth, and American Authors
The star power doesn’t stop there. The roster also features a stellar mix of genres and artists:
Tyler Shaw, Brittany Kennell, Jade Eagleson, JJ Wilde, Pynk Beard, Teigen Gayse, Lanco, Tiera Kennedy, and Dylan Marlowe.
Each show, performed from the train’s own unique fold-down stage, offers a dose of high-energy live music and festive spirit.

While the live entertainment is free, the core mission of the CPKC Holiday Train remains its commitment to fighting hunger.
Since 1999, the program has been a vital lifeline for local food banks, raising over $26 million and collecting over 5.4 million pounds of food.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring a monetary or heart-healthy food donation to their local stop to help their neighbours in need this holiday season.
